Funny Father’s Day gifts
He said he doesn’t want anything, and the Father’s Day gift that works anyway is the one he can’t buy himself. One photo and a few true things about him become a printed picture book for adults with him in it.
He’ll put it on the coffee table where guests can see it. He won’t mention it again.

Questions
What do you get a dad who says he doesn’t want anything?
Something he can’t buy himself. A book about him only exists if somebody who knows him fills in the details.
Can it be from the kids, or from the dog?
The sign-off under the dedication is printed exactly as you type it, so it can be from anyone who can hold a pen. Paw prints aren’t a format we offer.
Does it work for grandpa or a father-in-law?
Yes. It’s a book for adults; which adult is up to you.
How does it work, and what do you need from me?
You pick the book, send one clear photo of them and a few true things about them. We write and illustrate the book from that. You must confirm they’re an adult (18 or older), they’re willing to star in a gag book, and you have permission to share their photo.
Will it arrive in time?
We print and bind the book after you order it, so it isn’t instant — and we won’t promise a date here that we can’t keep for your address. Order with room to spare. If the day is close, write to hello@hellosorry.com first and we’ll tell you honestly whether it can make it.
Somebody you love deserves this. We’re so sorry.
One photo. One real book. A lifetime of them bringing it up at dinner.
